Carlisle Support Services are looking for Revenue Security Officers to maintain the security of trains and stations. This role involves early starts and late finishes, with shift patterns discussed at interview.

You will provide a high visibility presence for reassurance, report incidents, act as an ambassador for ARL, support passengers, carry out patrols, and assist with revenue blocks and ticket checks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Security

• Providing security of trains, premises, personnel, and equipment.
• Reporting stations surveyed, maintaining logs.
• High visibility reassurance during revenue blocks, crowd control, and emergencies.
• Maintaining access to ARL premises and identifying incidents or ticketless travel.

Key Tasks

• Performing patrols, providing information, completing paperwork, assisting in incidents, liaising with emergency services.

Revenue

Conduct revenue checks on trains, stations, and static locations. Assist with revenue disputes and duties per bye-laws.

Information & Communication

Provide accurate information, input data, and facilitate communication within ARL, BTP, and Carlisle.

Health & Safety

Follow safety procedures, know emergency equipment locations, and call for assistance when needed.

You will need:

• SIA DS Licence
• 5 years checkable work history
• Ability to meet Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme requirements
• Experience in network rail environment (preferred)
• People and communication skills, reliability, professionalism
