Job summary

Driver Hire Luton, part of the UK’s leading transport and logistics recruitment group, is seeking driven individuals to join our busy office. You will source candidates, screen for skills and availability, and build a strong pool to match vacancies in driving, warehouse and logistics.

Training is provided and progression opportunities exist within a friendly, award-winning team. Start times are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 with a one-hour unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone communication and engaging candidate conversations.
• Motivated, energetic, and able to work toward targets.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; builds relationships quickly.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for transport and logistics vacancies using job boards, social media and internal database.
• Screen and interview candidates to assess skills, experience and availability.
• Build and maintain a strong pool of reliable candidates.
• Match candidates to vacancies including driving, warehouse and logistics roles.
• Make outbound calls and maintain regular contact with candidates.
• Register new candidates and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Arrange interviews, assessments and start dates.
• Assist with high-volume recruitment campaigns when required.
