Job summary

P+S Personnel is assisting in recruiting a Project Manager/Logistics Manager for a client in Loddon. The role is full-time with hybrid working and a 37.5-hour week. You will lead logistics projects across transport, warehousing and inventory, while coordinating suppliers and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning and leadership skills, with a focus on cost control, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement within a logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within logistics, supply chain, marine, transport, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and resource allocation skills.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing suppliers, contractors, and third-party logistics providers.
• Ability to identify risks, implement mitigation measures, and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and cost control.
• Experience developing and improving operational processes to increase efficiency and performance.
• Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
