Job Description
Turner & Townsend, a leading consultancy in the Energy and Natural Resources sector, is seeking a Construction Logistics Project Manager for a high-profile, South West-based Energy Infrastructure project.

The Logistics Project Manager oversees and optimizes the Final Mile Logistics distribution strategy, ensuring the smooth flow of materials from arrival at the site to designated construction areas. Responsibilities include coordinating material deliveries, aligning activities with project timelines, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. This role is crucial for operational efficiency and resource allocation, requiring strong logistics management skills, a supply chain background, and strategic problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and optimize the FML distribution strategy.
2. Coordinate material deliveries to designated areas within HPC.
3. Maintain safety and compliance standards in logistics operations.
4. Drive operational efficiency and streamline last-mile delivery processes.
5. Monitor performance and compliance of the 3PL responsible for distributing materials.
6. Address logistical challenges, manage escalations, and provide strategic guidance.

Key Skills

• Experience in logistics management within construction or similar large-scale projects.
• Background in supply chain operations and team leadership.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in regulated environments.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
