Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, invites applications for a 12-month placement year in Logistics Planning. You will join the logistics planning team to support projects spanning product integration, supply chain and packaging for New Product Integration and model launches.

The role offers hands-on experience with production teams and external service providers. You will study toward a degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or Data Science and bring strong analysis, creativity, and

Qualifications

Studying towards a degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Data Science or a related discipline.
Strongly self-motivated with high analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of creative thinking.
Excellent communications and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively.
Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
General Business MS-Office Skills (Power BI, advantageous).
Good knowledge of logistics or manufacturing processes (advantageous).
3D modelling and CAD skills (advantageous).

Responsibilities

Be an integral part of new model launches within Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Work with logistics operations and assembly teams to integrate change requests into production.
Develop experience solving problems in a fast-paced business environment with tangible results.
Manage daily tasks, adhoc support and ongoing projects with transparent communication to team and stakeholders.
Liaise with external service providers and support.
Have autonomy in realising process improvements.
Utilise 3D drawing tools.
