Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Goodwood offers a 12-month placement year in Logistics Planning. You will work with the logistics planning team to develop supply chain, material flow, logistics structure and packaging for New Product Integration and launches.

You will engage with production teams, drive process improvements, and gain practical experience across fast-paced projects while liaising with external service providers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing or Data Science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking and initiative.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of MS Office; Power BI is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of logistics or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• 3D modelling and CAD skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the logistics planning team on NPI and production changes.
• Assist with supply chain, material flow planning and packaging.
• Contribute to process improvements with autonomy.
• Collaborate with external service providers and internal teams.
• Gain hands-on experience through model launches.
• Handle daily tasks and ad hoc projects with clear communication.
