Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. at The Entertainer site in Banbury is seeking a Planning Manager to develop and execute the resource planning strategy, ensuring the operation has the right people in the right place at the right time.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll work with Operations, Finance, HR and senior stakeholders to optimise labour planning, drive efficiencies and support business performance. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, with occasional flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in resource planning, workforce management, or operational planning within a fast-paced logistics context.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, for reports, forecasts and planning models.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Experience leading and developing people, managing change under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver resource planning strategies that support changing business demands and growth.
• Analyse data on headcount, labour costs and productivity to identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
• Produce forecasting, management information, reporting and planning models for key stakeholders.
• Lead workforce planning for peak periods, holidays, absence forecasting and agency resources.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and HR to align resource plans with objectives and budgets.
