Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a Logistics Planner to coordinate deliveries of aggregates and asphalt across the region. You will work with sales, customer service and operations to balance efficiency, cost, and customer satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will optimise road logistics, build strong haulage partnerships, and deploy resources to meet orders. Strong organisation and communication are essential for success in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, planning, or a similar fast-paced administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optimised road logistics planning for aggregates and asphalt in line with KPIs and SLAs.
• Build relationships with haulage partners to ensure high-quality service.
• Deploy haulage resources to fulfil customer orders and maximise value.
• Communicate with customer service daily to anticipate and resolve issues.
• Negotiate haulage rates and maintain accurate contract information.
• Maintain and operate logistics planning tools for smooth operations.
• Share real-time transport information with colleagues and customers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
