Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK (formerly Hanson UK) is seeking an Asphalt Planner to join our team and ensure efficient supply and delivery of asphalt across our network. You will coordinate plant production, haulage, and customer requirements to deliver outstanding service while maximising efficiency and profitability.

The role requires strong planning and logistics experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities and coordinate plant production, haulage and customer requirements.
• Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders; negotiate delivery schedules.
• Coordinate transport and plant teams; monitor performance and adjust plans.
• Escalate issues and resolve customer or driver concerns.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders in sales and operations.
