Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Goods In operative to support production on a short-term contract in Eastleigh. The role covers loading and unloading deliveries, collecting scrap bins, and performing basic stores duties within a busy factory environment.

Ideal candidates will be PC literate, with good handwriting, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. Flexibility and safety consciousness are essential, with rotating shift patterns (7am-5pm and 9am-7pm, 4 days per week).

Qualifications

• PC literate and comfortable with rotating shift patterns.
• Counter Balance forklift licence preferred.

Job description

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Goods In operative to work a minimum 3 months contract due to an increase in Production requirements.

The positions will involve a range of duties such as loading/unloading deliveries, collecting scrap bins from around the site and basic stores duties within a busy factory environment.

Ideal candidates will have the following characteristics:

• High standard of housekeeping
• Good hand/eye co-ordination

• Methodical but fast approach - not cutting corners
• Good observation skills
• Quality driven
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility/Versatility

Candidates will also need to be PC literate and happy to work on a rotating shift pattern.

Suitable candidates will also have licenses to drive a Counter Balance forklift truck.

Shift Pattern:

4 days per week (Monday to Friday)

Rotating weekly hours of 7am - 5pm and 9am - 7pm

Pay:

£15.19 per hour (inc shift premium)
