Matchtech are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Goods In operative on a minimum 6-month contract in Eastleigh. The role covers loading and unloading deliveries, collecting scrap bins and basic stores duties in a busy factory environment.

Ideal candidates will be PC literate with good handwriting, strong accuracy and a safety-conscious, methodical approach. A Counter Balance forklift truck license is required and the position operates on rotating shifts: 7am–5pm or 9am–7pm, four days per

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Goods In operative to work a minimum 6 months contract due to an increase in Production requirements.

The positions will involve a range of duties such as loading/unloading deliveries, collecting scrap bins from around the site and basic stores duties within a busy factory environment.

Ideal candidates will have the following characteristics:

• * Clear Handwriting
• * Accuracy in number transfer
• * High standard of housekeeping
• * Good hand/eye co-ordination
• * Safety Conscious
• * Methodical but fast approach - not cutting corners
• * Good observation skills
• * Quality driven
• * Flexibility/Versatility

Candidates will also need to be PC literate and happy to work on a rotating shift pattern.

Suitable candidates will also have licenses to drive a Counter Balance forklift truck.

Shift Pattern:

• 4 days per week (Monday to Friday)
• Rotating weekly hours of 7am - 5pm and 9am - 7pm
