Job summary

We are seeking a Logistics Operative to join our team in a fast-paced corporate setting. The role focuses on coordinating delivery, collection, storage and disposal of parcels across multiple sites, with careful record-keeping to ensure compliance and audit readiness.

Training will be provided. Responsibilities include operating forklift and other equipment, performing housekeeping to high standards, and maintaining safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Flexible, adaptable, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work well in a team while taking individual responsibility.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, distribution, storage and disposal of goods across multiple locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stored items.
• Operate logistics equipment and vehicles safely following training.
• Perform general housekeeping to keep facilities and stores clean and well-maintained.
• Support Workplace and Facilities Management teams with projects and moves.
• Deliver professional customer service by phone, email or face-to-face.
• Complete mandatory training and compliance updates.
• Undertake additional duties as needed by the business.
• Provide cross-training coverage at Hedge End and Swanwick sites.
