Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking an enthusiastic Stores/Logistics Operator to provide daily admin support and interface with customers when required to drive. You will manage bookings, database updates, shipping notes, and courier arrangements while maintaining an organised workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, basic IT skills, and a driving licence. Strong communication in English and the ability to multitask in a stores environment are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Pick up / drop off at customers when required.

Joining our team as a Stores / Logistics Operator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support, working on database software such as filemaker. You will also be interfacing with customers when you are required to drive. On a daily basis, you will: -

• Pick up / Drop off at customers when required
• Booking in/out of equipment
• Database entry of new equipment
• Updating incoming Calibration Certificates onto a database
• Creating shipping notes on company databases
• Arranging shipping to outside companies (via courier)
• Previous experience working in a customer-focused environment
• Proactive and self-motivated problem solver
• Good personal organisation (Tidy and organised workspace)
• Minimum of basic IT skills – e.g Database skill
• A driving licence is essential - driving site van
• Highly organised person with great attention to detail
• Friendly and customer interfacing
• Able to work in stores environment where manual handling is required
• Able to multitask
• Communication skills with good command of spoken and written English
• Ideally 5 GCSE’s level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate
