Job summary

A leading pet nutrition company in Crick, Northamptonshire, is seeking a Logistics Operative to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The role involves supplying materials to departments, unloading vehicles, and maintaining safety protocols. Candidates should have good literacy, experience in logistics, and an FLT licence. The position offers £14.50 per hour, Monday to Friday shifts, and various employee benefits including enhanced maternity leave and free parking.

Responsibilities

• Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials.
• Locate finished goods from production areas to the Warehouse.
• Unload incoming vehicles and rack materials after acceptance.
• Pick and assemble loads for dispatch according to paperwork.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain stock rotation through FIFO technique.
• Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose.
• Assist with training of new colleagues.

Skills

Good literacy and numerical skills

Clear communication in English

Experience in a similar role

Food Hygiene Accreditation

Counter balance / reach truck FLT licence
