Job summary

INSPIRED Pet Nutrition is seeking a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver for our Crick site. This permanent role operates on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift with days 06:00–18:00, averaging about 42 hours weekly.

The role requires a valid FLT licence (counterbalance or reach) and warehouse or manufacturing experience, plus strong literacy, numeracy and clear English communication. Apply via [e-mail].

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role.
• Valid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience (certification required).
• A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme.
• Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatch.
• Unload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generation.
• Pick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles in line with despatch paperwork.
• Work safely at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures and raising any concerns through appropriate channels.
• Ensure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing preuse documentation and reporting any vehicle or plant damage according to procedure.
• Participate in training and support the development of colleagues when required, including acting as a mentor for new team members.
