Join to apply for the Logistics Operative role at Kaminsky Consulting.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Operative to join an international engineering manufacturer in Halifax. Overtime paid at premium rates, along with genuine training and development opportunities, are available to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all warehouse duties are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and health & safety standards.
2. Conduct pre-shift safety checks and ensure the safe operation of trucks and vehicle areas.
3. Receive and dispatch deliveries efficiently and accurately, maintaining correct documentation.
4. Book stock in and out, pick goods accurately, and record movements within the warehouse system.
5. Inspect incoming shipments and materials according to company standards.
6. Pallet wrapping and label printing.

Experience

1. Experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
2. Valid forklift/reach truck license (training may be provided if not).
3. Good understanding of health and safety practices.
4. Flexible and proactive approach to work.
5. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
6. Basic computer literacy (advantageous).

What We Offer

1. £12.54 per hour.
2. 38 hours basic, with overtime available.
3. Rotating shift pattern: days, nights, earlies.
4. Annualised hours: 12-hour days and nights as required.
5. Ongoing training to enhance skills.
