Pertemps Leeds is recruiting for a Logistics Officer in Uttoxeter to coordinate UK and international shipments while supporting day-to-day warehouse duties. The role blends administration with practical warehousing tasks and requires good organisation, accuracy and safety focus.

You will work with transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant deliveries. Salary up to £28,000 plus a 9% discretionary annual bonus, pension and extra benefits with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing or shipping environments.
• Experience with goods-in/goods-out, dispatch or stock movements.
• Valid forklift truck licence.
• Good knowledge of manual handling and warehouse safety.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate UK and international logistics activities, including arranging shipments and collections.
• Liaise with approved freight and logistics providers for transport by road, air and sea.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, transport, customs and export documentation.
• Support transport of dangerous goods, ensuring correct documentation and procedures.
• Work with DGSA to ensure compliance with transport legislation.
• Prepare consignments for dispatch, including packaging and labelling.
