Job summary

1st Executive is seeking an Interim Logistics Officer in Chippenham for a hybrid role with on-site presence 1-2 days per week. The position is a fulltime temporary contract paying up to £400 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35).

The role involves developing and maintaining the logistics strategy, managing the full lifecycle, and acting as the primary contact for logistics with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Security clearance is required for the role.

Interim Logistics Officer

Rate: Up to £400 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)

Hybrid, office based 1-2 days p/w onsite (Chippenham, Southwest)

Fulltime, temporary contract role

Contract Length until 03/2027

An Interim Logistics Officer to join a large distribution company in southwest on a temporary basis. We are seeking enthusiastic and Logistics self-starting to collaborate with a wide scope of teams, such as procurement and operations teams to ensure support requirements.

• You will develop and maintain the logistic strategy and plans
• Oversee the entire lifecycle at every stage of the system ensuring support. Ensuring that the system is designed for maintainability, reliability, and supportability.
• Be primary point of contact for Logistics related matters with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Logistics Support Analysis
• Define and manage requirements for spares and equipment
  and Monitor, manage mitigate issues/risks associated with components
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
