About the role:
We seek a Group Logistics Manager for a new role reflecting our growth. The team includes four direct reports and 170 couriers, mostly on motorcycles (66%) and vans (33%). We have transitioned to electric vans and are trialing electronic motorcycles, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility. We also transitioned drivers to full employees with benefits.
Your responsibilities include managing the London Courier Department proactively and professionally, coordinating processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and responding strategically to external influences like legislation and environmental pressures. You will lead operational transformation, ensuring efficient, dynamic, and lean logistics, and oversee daily courier activities, staff reviews, and compliance with health, safety, fire, and HR policies.
