  • Lead the Goods Out team to ensure timely, accurate dispatch and delivery operations.
  • Manage and develop employed and agency drivers, maintaining high service and performance standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Customer Service, Planning, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and strategic logistics development.

About You:

  • Proven Leadership in Transport & Logistics: Extensive experience in a Transport or Logistics Management role, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • CPC Qualified: Holds a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Transport Management, with hands-on responsibility for managing a fleet of vehicles.
  • Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of UK and international road freight regulations, including export compliance.
  • International Logistics Coordination: Skilled in managing final mile logistics for both imports and exports on a global scale.
  • Operational Planning & Organisation: Exceptional planning and organisational abilities, with a track record of leading efficient transport operations.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams, including both permanent staff and agency personnel.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using transport management systems (TMS) and vehicle tracking technologies to optimise fleet performance.
