Join a market-leading, high-growth company as a Logistics Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the movement of raw materials, managing transport budgets, and ensuring optimal stock levels.

The Logistics Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring flawless supply of product to fill orders with optimal inventory levels and minimal cost.

We’ll look for you to bring your previous Logistics experience to make sure the full operation of the site runs smoothly. This is a real opportunity to become the Logistics Manager in a flagship depot, continue to develop and grow the business and really make an impact with a business which puts people at the heart of its strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Engage, lead, and develop warehouse staff.
• Operational Management: Oversee warehouse operations, including maintenance, Health & Safety, cost monitoring, and KPI management.
• Fleet Management: Manage a 150-vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with Working Time regulations.
• Budget and Inventory Control: Manage budgets and stock adjustments to ensure efficient and cost-effective product supply.
• Communication: Build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: Minimum two years in a large-scale logistics environment.
• Compliance: Knowledgeable in managing 3rd party hauliers, compliance, and legislation.
• People Management: Proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Budget Management: Experienced in managing budgets and working towards KPIs.
