Job summary

ATHLYTIX in Dartford, Kent is seeking a Logistics & Installation Technician to join a hands-on team. The role involves deliveries, furniture assembly, and site setup across varied locations, with a focus on practical problem‑solving and reliable execution.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with paid overtime opportunities and training including forklift where required, and opportunities to grow practical skills on office moves and project installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, deliveries, furniture installation, removals or similar hands-on role.
• Practical, organised and dependable.
• Comfortable using tools and getting stuck in.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel to different sites.

My client is looking for a Logistics & Installation Technician based in Dartford, Kent.

Are you the sort of person who:

• Can make a flat-pack wardrobe look like it belongs in a showroom?
• Knows the difference between a Phillips screwdriver and a Saturday night cocktail?
• Doesn't mind getting your hands dirty (but preferably not the company van)?
• Can organise a warehouse without needing a search party to find anything?
• Enjoys being out and about rather than watching the clock in an office?

WHAT'S THE JOB?

It's certainly not a case of sitting behind a desk waiting for Friday.

• Deliveries and collections
• Warehouse organisation and stock handling

• Office moves and workstation reconfigurations
• Supporting construction and fit‑out projects
• Getting sites set up, cleared and ready for action

In short, you'll help keep things moving, make things happen and occasionally discover that the missing piece was actually in the box all along!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Previous experience in logistics, deliveries, furniture installation, removals or a similar hands‑on role.
• Someone practical, organised and dependable.
• Comfortable using tools and getting stuck in.
• Happy working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to travel to different sites.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Commercial installation or office fit‑out experience.
• Tipper or commercial vehicle experience.
• A CSCS card.

No need to be a Swiss Army knife, but being a bit of an all‑rounder certainly helps!
