Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding or logistics.
• Good understanding of the logistics/shipping process.
• Experience with quotations and sales opportunities.
• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and overseas agents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional telephone manner and proactive approach.
• Organised with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare and send quotations and follow up opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities within logistics and shipping.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas agents.
• Manage customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
• Use internal operating and quotation systems.
