Job Title - Business Process Architect I2O

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are launching a significant Transformation Project to implement S/4HANA, called Project Nexus. We are creating several new positions to support this enterprise initiative.

Role Purpose:

This role supports the transformation within the respective workstream of our SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation. It is vital in enhancing S/4HANA’s capabilities and applying industry-standard methodologies to standardize and align processes across Lonza.

The Inbound to Outbound [Warehouse] Business Process Architect (BPA) focuses on implementing and optimizing S/4HANA, particularly related to I2O processes. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process solutions that improve data accuracy and support better business decisions.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major ERP transformation involving new SAP technologies. It is crucial for ensuring Lonza leverages S/4HANA to maximize business value and operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide expertise in the I2O stream aligned with Lonza’s business model archetypes.
• Deep knowledge of warehouse management processes.
• Lead regular meetings with the Stream Lead and address issues raised by local teams.
• Design and architect future process solutions within S/4HANA, ensuring they meet business needs and industry standards.
• Manage the end-to-end implementation of stream-related modules within S/4HANA, including reporting functionalities.
• Collaborate with data migration teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for key users/end-users to facilitate successful adoption of S/4HANA solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience within a CDMO/Pharma organization is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP/EWM/MM systems and related technology.
• Open to learning industry best practices relevant to the role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
• Change management experience is advantageous.

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 3-5 times per year for 2-3 weeks per trip, depending on project needs.
