Job summary

Iron Mountain in London is seeking a full-time Van Driver to join our transport team. You will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of clients' sensitive documents and information between client sites and Iron Mountain locations.

The role requires a current HGV license with 2+ years’ experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently. You’ll follow all safety policies and complete paperwork accurately, with IT systems used for confirmations.

Responsibilities

• Drive scheduled routes for confidential data delivery and collection.
• Safely load/unload data at depot and customer locations (includes manual lifting).
• Follow Driver's Code of Conduct and all traffic laws.
• Perform vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip), fueling, cleaning, and report issues.
• Complete paperwork: daily logs, debriefs, checklists, customer signatures.
• Follow Health & Safety, security, and accident prevention policies.
• Ensure data and vehicle security at all times.

Iron Mountain, a leading provider of storage and information management services, is seeking a Van Driver to join our team. As a Logistics Driver, you will play a critical role in our organisation, responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of our clients' sensitive documents and information from their site to our Iron Mountain locations.

This can be physically demanding as it would involve moving files and boxes between client sites and the company vehicle.

What You'll Do

• Drive scheduled routes for confidential data delivery and collection, meeting service times.
• Safely load/unload data at the depot and customer locations (includes manual lifting).
• Adhere strictly to Iron Mountain's Driver's Code of Conduct and all traffic laws.
• Perform vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip), fuel, clean, and report any issues.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately: daily logs, debriefs, checklists, customer signatures.
• Follow all Health & Safety, security, and accident prevention policies.
• Ensure data and vehicle security is maintained at all times.

We're Looking For

• Current, clean HGV driving license (2+ years) with an excellent driving record.
• Previous driving/logistics experience .
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation.
• Thorough understanding of driving regulations.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Methodical, reliable, and highly motivated.
• Comfortable using IT for work confirmation.
