Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is seeking a Logistics Driver to move, park, and present vehicles across our Woolwich centre. You’ll support Service, Sales, and Logistics teams while delivering excellent customer experiences.

We value organised, customer‑focused drivers with a valid UK licence and the ability to work across departments. Monday–Friday with Saturday rota duties, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in driving or logistics roles, preferably in automotive.
• Confident, responsible driver capable of handling various vehicle types, including EVs.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Organised and able to prioritise vehicle movements efficiently.
• Team player who can support multiple departments.
• Full, valid UK driving licence with excellent road safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organise vehicles across sites to ensure efficient use of facilities.
• Provide professional vehicle collection, delivery, and parking service with a strong customer focus.
• Prepare vehicles for workshop and sales, including breakdown arrivals and road tests when required.
• Open and close the site daily and ensure secure storage of vehicles at end of day.
• Capture vehicle images, record damage, and maintain documentation in company systems.
• Support vehicle presentation and forecourt cleanliness and safety.

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

• Move, park, and organise vehicles across all sites, ensuring efficient use of parking facilities and adherence to key‑holding and safety procedures.
• Providing a professional vehicle collection, delivery, and parking service, ensuring an excellent customer experience
• Preparing vehicles for the workshop and sales teams, including supporting breakdown arrivals, transporter deliveries, vehicle inspections, and road tests where required
• Open and close the site daily, ensuring all vehicles are safely stored within compounds or inside facilities at the end of each day.
• Capturing vehicle images, recording existing damage, and maintaining accurate documentation using company systems
• Supporting vehicle presentation by assisting with forecourt organisation, stock photography, signage, valeting coordination, and maintaining clean, safe parking and storage areas
• Working closely with the Service, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure efficient vehicle flow, dealer transfers, and the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the Centre

YOUR PROFILE.

• Ideally, you will have previous experience in a professional driving or logistics role, preferable within the automotive industry.
• A confident, responsible driver capable of operating all vehicle transmissions and model types, including EVs.
• A professional, customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Organised and able to prioritise vehicle movements efficiently
• A team player who is flexible and willing to support multiple departments
• Full, valid clean UK Driving Licence with excellent driving skills and road safety awareness

SALARY AND WORKING HOURS.

• Basic salary of £29,858.40 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 6.00pm with an unpaid hour for lunch, and Saturdays on a rota basis, 8.00am – 12.30pm (paid as additional hours).
