Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Logistics Driver based in London to join our UK delivery network. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting from client sites with temperature-controlled items and ensuring a courteous, efficient service.

The role is permanent, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with AM and PM shifts; a Full UK Manual B licence is essential and strong communication and organisation are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence is required.
• Experience in delivery and collection within temperature-controlled environments.
• Customer-focused and good communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital work management platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect from clients with consumables and samples.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and road safety.
• Report issues to Logistics Team Leaders and complete worksheets.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service at hand-off.
• Follow training and company policies.

Purpose of the post

Logistics drivers at Eurofins are the contact point with our clients and it is important that the interaction at this point is courteous and polite. Logistics drivers are responsible for delivering and collection from our clients with consumables and samples and ensuring that the experience that our clients have at this point is a pleasant and efficient one.

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work task allocated by the Logistics Team leaders
• Ensuring the vehicle that is being operated is safe for the road daily
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and out
• Reporting of any issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders
• Reporting of any vehicle defects directly to Logistics Team Leaders
• Complete all require tasks set out in worksheets on digital work management platform
• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform which is provided
• Ensure all equipment at customer drop off locations is in date and working and feedback issues
• Ensure customer drop off locations are kept clean and free from rubbish
• Complete all company training
• Respond to any reasonable
• Have a continuous improvement mindset and always operate safety and raise safety concerns

• A working knowledge of delivery and collection operations within a temperature-controlled environment
