Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Logistics Driver for UK operations. You will deliver and collect from clients with consumables and samples, ensuring courteous and efficient service and accurate handling.

Applicants must hold a Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence and be highly organised, able to work under pressure, and proficient with IT equipment to process tasks. 45 hours/week, Mon-Fri, AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence is required.
• Experience with delivery/collection in temperature-controlled environment is desirable.

Job Description

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. This is a permanent role. 45 hours per week. Monday - Friday. AM and PM shifts. Flexibility required.

Purpose of the post:

Logistics drivers at Eurofins are the contact point with our clients and it is important that the interaction at this point is courteous and polite. Logistics drivers are responsible for delivering and collection from our clients with consumables and samples and ensuring that the experience that our clients have at this point is a pleasant and efficient one.

• Effective and efficient carrying out of all work task allocated by the Logistics Team leaders
• Ensuring the vehicle that is being operated is safe for the road daily
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean inside and out
• Reporting of any issues with collections and deliveries to Logistics Team Leaders
• Reporting of any vehicle defects directly to Logistics Team Leaders
• Complete all require tasks set out in worksheets on digital work management platform
• Promote Eurofins image by wearing a presentable uniform which is provided
• Ensure all equipment at customer drop off locations is in date and working and feedback issues
• Ensure customer drop off locations are kept clean and free from rubbish
• Complete all company training
• Respond to any reasonable
• Have a continuous improvement mindset and always operate safety and raise safety concerns

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual B Category Driving Licence
• A working knowledge of delivery and collection operations within a temperature-controlled environment
