Job summary

DS Smith in Ely is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage deliveries, liaise with hauliers, and support production and sales teams. You will coordinate daily schedules, maintain documentation, and report on logistics performance while ensuring high levels of service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with haulage providers and customers.
• Attend daily capacity meetings and communicate potential issues or risks.
• Monitor scheduled deliveries and resolve challenges.
• Provide outstanding customer service with timely, accurate communication.
• Maintain in-house logistics documentation to a standard format.
• Produce detailed daily handover reports for the Logistics Manager.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Manufacturing, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless service.
