Job summary

Johnstons of Elgin is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our busy Logistics department. The role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, ensures timely delivery, maintains shipment records, and communicates with carriers to ensure customs compliance.

This full-time, permanent post is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £13.45 per hour. The successful candidate will drive between Elgin sites as needed, liaise with warehouse teams, prepare delivery notes and export documents, and

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or a similar environment.
• Proficient with shipping documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Strong IT skills and MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and carrier liaising.
• Maintain shipment records and prepare shipping documents.
• Monitor shipments and ensure on-time delivery and customs clearance.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement and customer service teams.
• Support continuous improvement of logistics operations.
