Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Logistics Coordinator on a 12-month contract based in Scotland, with hybrid work options to Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth or Glasgow. You will support delivery of major transmission and infrastructure projects, coordinating materials, equipment and personnel while liaising with contractors and project stakeholders to keep on-schedule and compliant with health and safety standards.

You'll work alongside the Logistics Manager and project teams to ensure smooth mobilisation,

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, energy, infrastructure or major project logistics.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors, suppliers and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction health & safety requirements and site operations.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of materials, equipment and personnel across project sites.
• Act as a key interface between contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor logistics performance and identify risks, delays and constraints.
• Support site mobilisation activities, including transport, accommodation, access and welfare arrangements.
• Assist with logistics planning, site access, laydown areas and traffic management.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on logistics performance and issues.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Maintain logistics records, delivery documentation and lessons learned.
