Job summary

HMH in Kintore is seeking a Logistics Administrator on a 6-month contract to manage UK imports/exports and oversee the movement of equipment domestically and internationally. The role includes processing shipping documents, applying FCA incoterms, and supporting warehouse and project teams.

You will liaise with the global Logistics team to share best practices and ensure accurate customs entries and HTS code usage for tax purposes.

Job description

HMH in Kintore have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator for 6 month contract.

Purpose

Responsible for timely and safe transportation of both HMH and customer owned equipment. Responsible for the organisation, control and safe management of incoming and outgoing HMH and customer owned goods domestically and internationally.

Accountabilities

• Responsible for managing all UK imports and exports for the business
• Provide support to Warehouse team as and when required
• Provide administrative and processing support to Warehouse and Project teams as and when required.

Deliveries

• Accurately process shipping documents for both domestic and international material whilst also managing customs entry instructions
• Maintain accurate overview of material movements using FCA incoterms
• Expedite shipment of all critical components to meet operational requirements
• Provide solutions to shipping discrepancies to help accelerate component delivery
• Verify that HTS codes are being assigned correctly for tax calculation purposes
• Liaise with global Logistics team to input and share best practice
• Provide support to Warehouse team, loading and unloading shipments as required
• Complete accurate put away and picking transactions to reflect material movement
• Provide control and overview to customer owned equipment across the site.
