Job summary

Logistics Coordinator role in Milton Keynes requires coordinating transport, deliveries and documentation to meet customer requirements. You will work with the Project Management team and external providers to ensure timely, cost-effective shipments, maintain records and support stock visibility.

The position is primarily office-based with a strong focus on service quality. Applicants should have experience in logistics, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport coordination, shipping or related roles.
• Proficient in written and spoken English with clear communication skills.
• Strong organisation, planning and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• IT skills including Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with carriers, couriers or third-party transport providers is beneficial.
• Knowledge of shipping terminology and import/export processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Arrange transportation and site deliveries in a timely, coordinated and cost-effective manner.
• Work with the Project Management team to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor inbound and outbound freight and track consignments through to delivery.
• Investigate transit delays and assist with route planning across road, rail, air or sea.
• Liaise with customers to understand and fulfil their specific delivery requirements.
• Develop relationships with carriers, couriers, suppliers and 3PL partners.
• Support stock visibility, incoming receipts and outgoing orders.
• Maintain accurate logistics, inventory and delivery records.
• Prepare shipping documents, delivery paperwork and customs/compliance documents where applicable.
• Monitor delivery performance and provide updates and reports to management.
• Resolve delivery queries and operational issues quickly and professionally.
