Job summary

Algeco UK is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport operations while delivering excellent customer service and supporting branch administration. You will manage despatch, plan execution, driver and subcontractor efficiency, and reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general administration.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Previous experience in transport or logistics is desirable.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Despatch management: ensure on-time dispatch of units from the Service Centre and meet requirements.
• Execute the daily transport plan and complete related administration.
• Provide ongoing support to driver teams and act as point of contact for queries.
• Report to the Logistics Manager and support planning and feedback.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance scheduling, servicing and paperwork.
• Support site safety initiatives and promote a safe working environment.
