Job summary

Geely Auto UK is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement, storage, tracking and delivery of finished vehicles across the UK. You will ensure accurate data, respond to stakeholder enquiries, and support import and customs activities to deliver vehicles safely and on time.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, monitoring stock and deliveries, and producing daily reports to support planning and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree beneficial for coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience handling customs documentation and vehicle registrations would be advantageous.

Job Purpose

To coordinate the day-to-day movement, storage, tracking and delivery of finished vehicles across the UK automotive logistics network. The role maintains accurate operational data, manages delivery and carrier visibility, supports import and customs activity, responds to stakeholder enquiries, and helps ensure vehicles are delivered safely, on time and in line with company, customer and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain daily vehicle visibility, including stock, dispatched vehicles, work lines, delivery requests and damage updates.
• Coordinate vehicle collections and deliveries with carriers, ports, compounds and third-party logistics providers.
• Manage daily stock checks and ensure logistics, stock and reference reports are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare and issue daily delivery, dispatch and carrier visibility reports to support allocation and delivery planning.
• Monitor and elevate logistics exceptions, delays, risks, vehicle issues and capacity constraints.
• Manage customs processes for vehicle importation and bonded storage, including supporting documentation.
• Monitor vehicle/customer activity, including PDI, transport and claims status.
• Use forecasts, shipping schedules and build information to support transport, compound and handling capacity planning.
• Track logistics KPIs, including delivery lead times and on-time delivery performance, and support corrective actions.
• Manage communication with dealers, carriers and internal stakeholders, responding to operational queries and supporting issue resolution.

Education, Skills And Personal Characteristics Required

• Bachelor’s degree beneficial but not necessary
• Experience in automotive industry preferably with finished vehicles
• Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in handling customs documentation and vehicle registrations
• Expert in MS Office tools, especially Excel
• HNF experience
