Job summary

Geely Auto UK is seeking an Accessory and Merchandise Product Specialist to lead the development and sales performance of Geely and Zeekr accessories and merchandise, ensuring profitable delivery and timely contracts, inventory, suppliers, purchasing and promotions to Dealers.

Reporting to the Ownership Experience Manager, you will manage locally sourced accessories, pricing, and stock while ensuring UK/EU regulatory compliance and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Automotive technology, Engineering, Customer Service or a related field.
• Or Comparable Qualifications Or Experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and deliver a profitable accessory range for Geely and Zeekr by vehicle during product life cycle.
• Market and promote accessories with pricing management.
• Ensure UK/EU regulatory compliance for accessories.
• Report accessories by Dealer and vehicle sales channel.
• Become the expert on accessories and implement minimum standards with Sales & Dealer partners.
• Raise relevant data sets on IT systems.
• Procure and develop locally sourced accessories with competitive pricing.
• Manage the supplier base from cost, tendering, contract, negotiation & PO.
• Market and promote locally sourced Accessories in relevant channels.
• Manage Dealer pricing from RRP to Net Invoice value.
• Track and manage gross margins and costs to meet KPIs.
• Communicate and implement price changes to the Dealer network.
• Support DMS providers with pricing updates & data.
• Optimise stock holding to balance customer satisfaction and costs.

Job Purpose

Reporting into the Ownership Experience Manager the Accessory and Merchandise Product Specialist will manage the development and sales performance of local and HQ supplied Accessories and Merchandise for both the Geely and Zeekr brands. Ensuring a profitable and timely delivery of products while managing contracts, inventory, suppliers, Purchasing & promotions to Dealers.

Main Responsibilities

Accessories and Merchandise

• For Geely and Zeekr brands, development, planning and delivery of a profitable accessory range (including Merchandise) by vehicle during product life cycle.
• Marketing and Sales promotion of accessories with the management of pricing & competitor price points.
• Adherence to meet UK/EU regulatory requirements.
• Reporting of accessories by Dealer and vehicle sales channel.
• Become the expert on accessories by implementing minimum standards with Sales & Dealer partners.
• Raising relevant data sets on IT systems.

Locally Sourced Accessories and Merchandise

• To procure & develop locally sourced accessories competitive prices from identified range gaps.
• Manage the supplier base from cost, tendering, contract, negotiation & PO.
• Market & promote locally sourced Accessories in relevant channels.

Pricing and Stock Management

• The management of Dealer pricing from RRP to Net Invoice value.
• Tracking & management of gross margins & costs to meet business KPI’s.
• Communication and implementation of price changes to the Dealer network.
• Supporting DMS providers with pricing updates & associated data.
• Optimise stock holding to ensure customer satisfaction whilst controlling costs.

Education, Skills And Personal Characteristics Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Automotive technology, Engineering, Customer Service or a related field.
