Job summary

Flex is hiring a Logistics Coordinator on a 1-year fixed term contract based in Kendal. The role focuses on supporting UK dispatch and occasional import/export processes across Anord Mardix UK sites, collaborating with Production, Planning, Projects, Procurement and Sales.

You will manage all outbound/inbound deliveries, ensure accurate shipping documentation, and coordinate with clients and freight forwarders to meet delivery requirements while maintaining cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all outbound and inbound deliveries.
• Ensure the accuracy of shipping documentation (delivery notes, commercial invoices, export documents, dangerous goods paperwork, load plans).
• Coordinate internal liaison with Project Managers and Production for timely collections and deliveries.
• Arrange and manage transport and logistics cost effectively.
• Liaise with clients to meet delivery requirements to high standards.
• Raise Purchase Orders in line with procedures.
• Update records of deliveries for customs compliance including HMRC audits.
• Pursue proof of deliveries (PODs) for revenue recognition.
• Prepare weekly/monthly logistics KPI reports.
• Cover export/import processes when required.
