Brellis Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in Warwick to join a successful, fast growing manufacturer. This new role supports growth as the business expands its UK and Europe customer base.

You will own transport and documentation, report to the Managing Director, and help shape how the function runs to support ongoing expansion across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating international shipments UK to Europe.
• Solid understanding of commodity codes, invoices and customs docs.
• Knowledge of pallet networks, groupage and dedicated haulage.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness on freight costs.
• Confident using Gmail and Google Sheets; calm under pressure and independent.

Responsabilités

• Plan and book transport for customer orders, mainly to Europe.
• Book pallet networks, groupage and dedicated deliveries with partners.
• Choose transport solutions based on cost, service and customer needs.
• Ensure freight costs align with customer delivery charges.
• Obtain and check export/import documentation before collection.
• Track consignments and resolve issues to delivery.
• Coordinate daily collections with warehouse and planning teams.
• Keep sales informed of delays and onboard new transport partners.

Logistics Coordinator

Warwick | £29,000 | Monday to Friday | Office based | Permanent

Brellis Recruitment are working with a successful and fast growing manufacturer in Warwick to recruit a Logistics Coordinator. This is a new role, created as the business expands its customer base across the UK and Europe.

At the moment transport is booked by the sales team. Export volumes have grown considerably, so the business now needs a dedicated person with real international shipping experience to take ownership of transport and documentation. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a key part in supporting the next stage of growth.

The Role

• Planning and booking transport for customer orders, with the majority of shipments going to Europe
• Booking pallet network, groupage and dedicated vehicle deliveries through approved transport partners
• Choosing the right transport solution based on customer requirements, cost and service levels
• Making sure freight costs are commercially viable and in line with customer delivery charges
• Obtaining and checking all export and import documentation before collection, including commercial invoices, commodity codes, EORI details, Importer of Record information, Power of Attorney and VAT deferment
• Tracking consignments through to delivery and resolving any issues along the way
• Working closely with the warehouse and planning teams to coordinate daily collections
• Keeping the sales team updated on delays so customers can be kept informed
• Building strong relationships with existing transport partners and helping to onboard new ones

What You Will Need

• Proven experience coordinating international shipments from the UK into Europe, this is essential

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple shipments at once
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good commercial awareness around freight costs and margins
• Confident using Gmail and Google Sheets, or similar
• Calm under pressure, proactive and able to work independently
