Job summary

International Logistics Group in Northampton is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to deliver frontline telephone and email support to a portfolio of Fulfilment Clients, understand bespoke requirements and drive a high level of service. You will process orders, respond to queries and coordinate with ILG departments to ensure every contract runs smoothly.

The role offers opportunities to develop within a people-focused 3PL, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a logistics, fulfilment or client-facing operational role.
• Previous customer service experience, meeting deadlines and SLA commitments, with financial responsibility.
• MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Outlook.
• Methodical and organised approach to email management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High accuracy in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day queries, process all orders and related correspondence with customers and ILG teams.
• Use the client and in-house ticketing system to provide updates within SLA and SOPs.
• Work with Client Services, Warehouse Team Leaders and customers to ensure smooth contract operation.
• Manage billing for services provided.

The role

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will provide front-line telephone and email support to a portfolio of Fulfilment Clients, understanding their bespoke requirements and providing a high level of customer response and service. The key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Resolving day-to-day queries, including processing of all orders and any correspondence relating to those orders with the customer and other ILG departments
• Utilise the client and in-house hosted ticketing system to provide updates on client queries within the agreed SLA and ensure that all queries are actioned in line with the client SLA and Standard Operating Procedures
• Work in close liaison with Client Services, Warehouse Team Leaders and externally with customers to facilitate the smooth running of all contracts
• Managing billing for services provided

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in a logistics, fulfilment or client-facing operational role
• Previous customer service experience, working to deadlines and SLA commitments and previous financial responsibility
• MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Outlook
• Able to demonstrate methodical and organised ways of working, particularly in relation to email management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good standard of written and verbal communications to provide a high standard of service
• Ability to complete work that requires a high degree of accuracy
