Job summary

Greenjets seeks a meticulous Logistics Coordinator to plan, coordinate and monitor the transportation of aviation components from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with warehouses, maintenance teams and transport providers to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

Responsibilities include managing domestic and international shipments, preparing shipping and customs paperwork, maintaining inventory records and generating performance reports.

About the Job:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the transportation and delivery of aviation components, supplies, and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, maintenance teams, and transportation providers to ensure materials are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with aviation and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of aircraft parts, tools, and operational supplies.

• Track deliveries and monitor shipment progress to ensure timely arrival.

• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, courier services, and internal stakeholders.

• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and inventory records.

• Manage stock movements and coordinate inventory replenishment activities.

• Support aircraft maintenance teams by ensuring critical parts are available when required.

• Resolve transportation, customs, or delivery issues quickly and effectively.

• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and health and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records within logistics and inventory management systems.

• Generate reports and provide updates on logistics performance and key metrics.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

Essential

• Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination role.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience using inventory management, logistics, or ERP systems.

Desirable

• Experience within the aviation, aerospace, engineering, or transport sector.

• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.

• Understanding of aircraft parts logistics and aviation maintenance operations.

• Relevant logistics, supply chain, or transportation qualification.
