Job description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced logistics and freight forwarding team in Colnbrook. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for ensuring the smooth movement of goods across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange transport and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records in logistics and warehouse management systems.
  • Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to manage stock and dispatch schedules.
  • Handle customer queries and provide excellent service throughout the logistics process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain role.
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with air freight and international shipping.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and Incoterms.
