Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining driver/core staff rosters to ensure resource capability over a 24/7 period, including reactive and emergency response.
- Ensuring the numbers within the emergency response driving team are consistently maintained.
- Implementing and deploying the Emergency Plan to ensure compliance with Company Procedure.
- Responsible for the allocation of ESL transport assets to individual convoys for all deployments.
- Planning routes, alternative routes, site locations, and assisting with contingency planning.
- Acting as a liaison between convoy commanders and TLMP Liaison Officer (Customer appointed on shift).
- Maintaining ongoing verbal communication with drivers during Adhoc Move Requests to supplement Microlise updates.
- Ensuring clear daily communication between shifts using handover documents and passing critical information to Team Leader and Contract Manager.
- Occasionally assisting at drivers/debrief counters for EDF movements.
- Responding to customer requests for movement or inquiries, escalating as needed, including calculating transport costs, requesting drivers and tractor units, and advising the Forecast Team.
- Performing administrative tasks such as tracking weekly hours, vehicle mileage, and KPI production.
- Providing out-of-hours support to Eventor Drivers, liaising with Customer Services, assisting with tyre call-outs and breakdowns, and updating GTS.
- Assisting with tracking Formula 1 Trucks during the season as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental rules to protect all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Reporting health and safety breaches, accidents, incidents, or near-misses immediately and assisting with investigations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Working Time Directive (WTD) and EU Drivers Hours (Core).
- Experience with GTS and Microlise applications.
- Good customer service skills.
