Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an Outbound Logistics Administrator to join our Manufacturing & Distribution team. The role is based in either Southampton or Kidderminster and offers hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office each week.

You’ll be the key contact for logistics and delivery queries, monitoring shipments, maintaining records, and analysing service performance to support operations and drive improvements across stores, carriers and internal teams.

Every day, thousands of products need to reach our stores and customers on time, and as an Outbound Logistics Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in making that happen. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Manufacturing & Distribution team, helping to keep goods moving smoothly across the business and ensuring colleagues, stores and customers receive the support they need. Based in either Southampton or Kidderminster, this hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home alongside a minimum of two days per week in the office, giving you the best of both worlds.

In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll be the key point of contact for logistics and delivery queries, working closely with stores, carriers and internal teams to provide timely updates and resolve issues. You’ll monitor shipments, maintain accurate records, analyse service performance and help coordinate responses when challenges arise. Your work will be essential in supporting smooth operations, driving service improvements and ensuring a positive experience for colleagues and customers alike.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities. You’ll bring strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. Experience in administration, customer service, logistics or a coordination-based environment will be beneficial, as will an ability to work with data and identify trends.
