Confidential is recruiting a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our client’s central administration team in Basildon, Essex.

You’ll help co-ordinate vehicle orders through to delivery, keep records accurate and provide customers and sales colleagues with clear, timely updates. The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a permanent contract.

Salary: £26,500 basic + delivery bonus (expected total earnings of £28,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Previous motor trade or vehicle leasing experience is not essential but would be helpful. Our client places greater importance on a positive attitude, a practical approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn and progress.

The role:

You ll help co-ordinate vehicle orders through to delivery, keeping records accurate and ensuring customers and sales colleagues receive clear, timely updates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the vehicle order database and keeping information up to date.
• Obtaining regular updates on vehicle availability and order progress.
• Arranging the fitting of additional vehicle equipment and extras.
• Liaising with customers and the sales team about delivery dates, requirements and updates.
• Preparing customer documentation accurately.
• Supporting the administration team with day-to-day tasks and additional duties as required.
