About The Role

We’re recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join our Alconbury team on a 4-on-4-off rota. You’ll manage the logistical administration of produce imports, ensuring smooth clearance, arrival, and delivery from suppliers to AMFRESH UK.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in logistics and transport, looking for a new challenge, to join the team with a positive approach to making a difference!

In this role you will:

• Coordinate with port agents for customs clearance and resolve any issues.

• Monitor vessel schedules to optimise port time and stock levels.

• Manage daily intake vs. booking sheets and communicate with hauliers, suppliers, and internal teams on delays.

• Rebook deliveries as needed and liaise with service providers.

• Organise freight from port to packhouse/direct supply, maximising load fill to reduce costs.

• Handle admin tasks: invoicing, shipping notifications, manifests, claims, and recharges.

• Keep commercial, procurement, planning, and operations informed of any stock or shipment delays.
