To ensure the smooth running of product movements within the warehouse environment.

Job Title:

Logistics Assistant

Main Purpose

To ensure the smooth running of product movements within the warehouse environment and that our client's policies and procedures are followed, maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading deliveries and loading product orders daily.
• Assist with distribution and rotation of product.
• Ensure safe systems of work and adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe workplace.
• Attach batch codes to all raw materials upon entry to the factory.
• Manage stock rotation and recycled packaging returns.
• Collate orders and input data into Intact software.
• Pass on completed work to ensure process efficiency.
• Check orders for accuracy before vehicle loading.
• Liaise with external logistics operators.

Contract Details

• Hours: 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, with two 30-minute unpaid breaks.
• Holiday: 28 days annually.
• Salary: £28,800/year (£12.30/hour).
• Probation: Salary increases to £29,300/year (£12.50/hour) after a successful 12-week probation.
