We're looking for an Administrator to join our Warehouse & Logistics team in Nottingham. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the engineering team by managing and coordinating essential administrative and technical tasks. This role involves maintaining and updating key systems, including training records, medical appointments, holiday schedules, and the facilities management CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
This role would also be great for someone to step in and make a difference to how we use and manage our data. Having a proactive approach to continuous improvement through learning and potentially utilising Power Platforms to automate administrative functions and enhance process efficiency would be key within this role, as well as being able to challenge the status quo and continuously drive for improvement!
This role would also require travel across the UK to our different Warehouses and sites, therefore you would need to have a valid UK driving licence and be able to travel overnight too when required.
Record Keeping: Ensure all records are filed and maintained to high standards, ensuring everything is kept up to date and in the right place.
IT Systems Support: Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) for general administration and document creation. Troubleshoot basic IT issues and assist in the use of CMMS.
Vendor Coordination: Assist with booking and managing appointments with third-party vendors for services such as routine service visits, repairs and projects. Closely liaising with vendor and Boots contact to ensure timely and efficient service is achieved
Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to administrative processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the engineering department.
Power Platforms Integration: Use Power Platforms tools to automate administrative tasks, such as approval workflows, reporting, and process optimisation.
