Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board invites applications from an enthusiastic Locum Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics with a specialist interest in primary lower limb arthroplasty. Qualifications

• Specialist interest in primary lower limb arthroplasty.
• Experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics as a consultant or locum.
• Ability to work across a regional service model.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective Trauma and Orthopaedic services with focus on primary hip and knee arthroplasty.
• Undertake outpatient clinics, elective operating lists, ward reviews and clinical administration.
• Collaborate with consultant colleagues, anaesthetic teams, theatre staff and other MDT members to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in governance activities including audit, quality improvement and service development.
