Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a Social Worker for the Children Looked After Team in Bracknell.

This ongoing locum role offers a competitive rate of £40.00 hourly, with a flexible arrangement of a minimum of 3 days in the office, equating to 37 hours per week.

You will work with the Team Manager, provide reflective supervision, collaborate with agencies, and champion the voice of the child to ensure positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to children looked after, ensuring their needs are met and safeguarding them from harm.
• Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to provide integrated and effective services.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
• Champion the voice of the child in all aspects of practice and oversee performance and quality assurance tasks.
• Offer reflective supervision to social work staff, supporting their professional growth.
• Assist in the development and implementation of robust systems and processes to support effective practice within the team.
