Job summary

Medecho LTD is seeking a Locum Senior House Officer (SHO) in General Medicine for an NHS Trust. The role supports the medical team across acute and general services and starts ASAP, with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient care on-site.

Candidate must have GMC registration with licence, NHS experience, and ALS certification. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely care and clinical governance in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Must have previous NHS experience.
• Must have a valid Right to Work in the UK.
• ALS certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, investigate, and manage patients admitted under General Medicine.
• Participate in ward rounds, patient reviews, and discharge planning.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions under consultant supervision.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Liaise with nursing staff and allied health professionals.
• Ensure compliance with NHS clinical governance and patient safety standards.
